The Governments Comprehensive Spending review announced a change in funding levels for Private Finance Initiatives for waste management. PFI funding will rise from the 280 million pounds available in 2007/08 to 700 million pounds in 2010/11. See More Here…

Cheshire county council yesterday unveiled a list of 13 companies in the running for its largest ever contract, a PFI-backed waste deal worth £1 billion.
