Cory Environmental Consults on Plans for Wingmoor Park Composting Facility

Cory Environmental recently held public exhibitions as part of the consultation process over plans for a new in-vessel composting plant at Wingmoor Park. The plans are for the development of an in-vessel composting plant that would receive 34,000 tonnes of biodegradable material from gardens and kitchens per year, to produce approximately 28,000 tonnes of compost. The process would take place in enclosed buildings and specifically designed composting tunnels, in which conditions would be carefully monitored.

A planning application for the development is being prepared that will include specialist reports on an extensive range of environmental and planning issues, including visual effects, noise, traffic, bio-aerosols and odour. More here …
